Thoughts:

I was super excited when this finally came to Canada. I had seen some of my favourite beauty gurus on snapchat and YouTube using this product and it seemed so promising. Plus it's something new and different in the dry shampoo world, and that doesn't happen often. As soon as I saw this available on Sephora Canada I ordered it despite the hefty $35 price tag. Maybe this would be the breakthrough my roots needed to make them appear fresh and voluminous!

Unfortunately that was not the case. If you take a look at the reviews on Sephora's website many others echoed my similar opinion. The dry shampoo claims to remove oil and product buildup from dry hari. First off, it smells amazing and is really neat because it goes in like a normal mousse but dries up quickly. It is very strongly scented though so if you are sensitive to fragrance you probably wouldn't like it. Dark haired ladies might like the fact that there is no white cast, since it isn’t a powder. That being said, don’t waste your money. All I found it to do was make my roots look more greasy than they were before. It didn't absorb any oil and just added product and made my roots look shiny and feel dirtier than it was to start with. It was heavy feeling and gross to touch throughout the day.

Long story short: I will not be repurchasing this. It was not the answer to my dry shampoo question. Or my volume question. I probably won't even use the rest of my can, which is disappointing because it cost me way too much money to find this out. Thicker haired ladies may have more luck than I did, which is why I'll likely donate this bottle to a friend! While looking up the link to attach to this post, it seems that my thoughts are echoed in many other commenter’s opinions that we wanted to like the product but it just didn’t deliver!

Would you try this foam? Please let me know if you like it or if you had a similar experience!
