My Thoughts?

I purchased this product from an Ulta while visiting a friend in Chicago for $24 USD. It’s not sold in stores in Canada (that I have found?), but I am a huge fan of tarte products and I have heard many great things so I was eager to try this product out. I love it when the great things I hear turn out to be accurate! The applicator is large and deposits a lot of product on the face. The first time I used it I put a full swipe of product under each eye and had to wipe some away because it was too thick.

I mostly apply under the eyes, over the redness around my nose, and any spots that need concealing. I have tried applying with both a dry and damp beauty blender and prefer the finish with a dry beauty blender.

The consistency of the product is thick, it’s very full coverage, and easily blends. I have worn this with liquid foundation under, powder foundation over top, and alone and I like the way it looks in all 3 cases. The only downside I find is that it makes my under eyes look dry if I am not really moisturized since it dries matte. I would say it’s probably a better concealer for oilier skin compared to my dry skin type. If scent is something that bothers you, It does have a faint flowery or fruity scent to it.

Overall, I would say that it’s a great product for the cost since you are getting a large tube for about the same cost as other leading full coverage concealers. Plus, a little product goes a long way. However, since I can only buy online in Canada I have to take into account shipping costs too or spending the $50 to get free shipping. Even though I really like the product, I will not likely repurchase right away since I do most of my makeup purchases through Sephora.

Have you tried this product? What did you think?
